========================
After the peace accords were signed January 23, 1973 all air support missions halted in NVN, SVN and Laos. The accords did not cover Cambodia where air support continued until July 15, 1973 when Congress cut off all funding for further operations. All combat operations in SEA ceased this date. The Air Force flew 5.25 million sorties in Southeast Asia, losing 2,251 aircraft and 1,738 Airmen killed in action from 1962 to 1973. Source: Air Force Museum, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio.
