The “USAF AOG Class of 1965 Sponsored Interviews” project was conducted by the USAFA Association of Graduates between 1991 and 1992. The collection of these oral histories of Vietnam War era POWs was funded by the United States Air Force Academy Association of Graduates and the USAFA Graduating Class of 1965. The transcripts of these valuable accounts are available to the public at the Association of Graduates headquarters in Doolittle Hall, USAFA and at the Clark Special Collections McDermott Library, USAFA. Clark Special Collections specifically focuses on Prisoner of War accounts, as per the collection, direction and vision of the founder of USAFA Special Collections, Lt. General Albert P. Clark. Lt. General Clark was a prisoner of war himself in World War II in Stalag Luft III, Germany and later became 6th superintendent of USAFA.
