Gerald Gerndt, whose parents. Mr. and Mrs. Ellsworth Gerndt of Suring, are eagerly waiting for him.

He has been a Vietnam prisoner of war for over five years. Capt. Gerndt referred to the pond in back of the barn on his parents’ farm.
